We had been saving Danube Delta for a good moment, and with my mother visiting us and Inna being able to take two days off work, such a moment finally presented itself.

Danube Delta is the second biggest river delta in Europe as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also a home to thousands of birds. I'm not a big bird watcher myself but Danube Delta didn't disappoint! Birds like the stork in the picture were so easy to spot in the delta that after a while we didn't even bother paying much attention to them :).
