Cactuses and Strawberries
This was one of the days that could be put under the category "pictures tell more than a million words". This was also supposed to be a rest day but it seemed like Inna wasn't tired ;).
We started off by eating breakfast in an Indian restaurant. This gave us enough energy to explore all the things Inna so much likes: cactuses, lots of them. We found out that there is a place called Cactus Valley in Brinchang and that was the place Inna wanted to visit. The place was huge and full of cactuses, plants and flowers. I'm sure Inna could tell more about it but I don't really know any names for them so I'll let the pictures do the job this time :).
Right next to the Cactus Valley there's a big strawberry farm. Strawberry is a really exotic fruit for the Malaysians and I found it very amusing. They have almost every tropical fruit within their grasp and they find strawberries exotic and exciting?! We visited the farm anyway and bought a nice, although a bit pricey strawberry ice cream and some juice.
In the evening we ate in a Chinese restaurant and visited a tea shop (what a great day for Inna ;). It was surprisingly cold in Brinchang and the bus would have come only in half an hour so we walked five kilometers back to Tanah Rata. It wasn't a rest day but once again we saw a lot of new things and it felt great to crawl back to our bed to recharge the batteries.
