What is this page about? What can I find here?

I originally created this page in the summer of 2010 when I had some spare time in Ukraine. For a long time I had written notes and diaries about my trips in small notebooks, but I had never shared them with anyone. I've also had a gallery of my photos for quite some time now, but usually people don't feel like watching hundreds or even thousands of pictures from one holiday only.

So I decided to combine the stories no one ever hears and some of the most interesting photos I've taken along the way and put them here. On the left you can see the chronologic list of holidays I've had and by clicking the links you can start reading the stories or just watching the pictures. By clicking the small thumbnails within the stories, a separate window will open with a bigger version of the photo. The comments-section lets you check any number of latest comments. It's a handy tool if you want to check out the latest activity. Every once in a while I write a piece of news on the front page to let you know about new additions to the page.

One can also sign up for the page, but at the moment the feature doesn't offer much benefits unless you're an admin. Being logged in makes it easier to comment though, as you don't have to type in the spam protection code each time. And of course no one will be able to steal your nickname! By clicking the Russian flag you will be transferred to the Russian section of the page, which is maintained by Inna.

If you have any ideas for the page, find something that doesn't work or find spelling / grammar errors, feel free to contact me by email: milton_fi [at] yahoo.com or in IRC (milton @ QuakeNet).

All in all it's all very simple, but I find it useful at least for myself. One day when I'm 70 I can read these stories here and I'm sure it'll make me smile! I hope you'll have just as much fun with the page!
