Summary
I don't know if it's possible to summarize it all in a few paragraphs, but I can at least share a few final thoughts here.
Was it worth all the money and trouble? Hell yes! Is Southeast Asia the perfect travel destination that makes every other place on Earth feel like nothing? At least not for me it isn't. Many people have been advertising Southeast Asia as the best possible area in the world, but for me it wasn't so mind-blowing. It was really great, enjoyable, special, exotic and many other wonderful things, but I'm still looking forward to see many other places on Earth, and I'm sure many places will be just as great, if not better.
Many people might think that it's somehow difficult to travel in Southeast Asia, but tourism is so well developed there that pretty much anyone can do it. After spending a lot of time in Ukraine it didn't feel so original at all in Asia! I don't know for sure, but I think there weren't so many tourists there because of the rainy season and the unrest in Bangkok. We were more than happy about it, and those empty beaches on Ko Tao are something that I will never forget :).
I hope you have enjoyed reading this long, long story! Thanks for all the comments so far and feel free to write more! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

We were wondering if it was healthy to brush our teeth with tap water, to eat food that was cooked in the streets, to open a window in our room (because of mosquitos), to drink coctails etc but it was worth doing it all! Though, I have to say, I'm happy I got vaccines against hepatitis A and B before going to Asia. That was all my protection. :)I haven't travelled much yet but, I'm sure, hiding from any danger in a luxury hotel isn't for me.
Yeah, there were some things I didn't like: traffic in Thailand, religions in Malaysia and really hot+humid weather. I couldn't live there but I'm willing to come back one day!!
I guess vaccines against hepatitides, especially A, are really useful as it is easy to catch one in countries with bad hygiene. I took the vaccine against Japanese encephalitis too, but Inna did not. They didn't offer the vaccine in Ukraine, and it's not a common disease even in Southeast Asia. The reason why I took it was that the disease is really nasty and can easily kill you. The price was really high though. Two shots combined cost well over 200 euros!
