Slovenia summary
For quite some time both I and Inna had wanted to visit this perhaps not so popular small country, and finally we got the chance to do it. At six days this wasn't one of our longest journeys but it was enough to see perhaps the most of the interesting places in Slovenia thanks to the short distances and relatively fast, cheap and very reliable public transportation.
The time of year wasn't the best for our visit, and the bad weather certainly affected our opinion about the country. But even with all the rain we still liked what we saw and I'm sure even the less interesting places would appear at least slightly more deligthful under better circumstances. We were a bit disappointed in the cities in Slovenia, but the nature was just as beautiful as we expected, and I'm quite sure it would be even better in the summer or autumn when the trees have all their leaves, flowers are blossoming and animals are more active. That means that one day we have to come back in the summer to enjoy the views and perhaps give that amazing north face of Triglav a shot!
